I’d like you to tweak/tune my existing Windows Server 2008 R2 with the software mentioned below to increase the performance of the whole system.
I recently moved an installation of vBulletin (Version 3.8) to another location on the same server.
Also, the following software was updated:
vBulletin 3.8.7 to vBulletin 5.4.4 (around one million posts, 3.000 visitors per day)
PHP 5.4 to PHP 7.1.23
MySQL 5.1 to MySQL 5.7.21
The ‘old’ installation was running quite well; now everything is insanely slow and I cannot find any reason for this. This is where you get in the game. 🙂
The machine is provided with Plesk Onyx, full admin access via RDP will be granted as well.
